Poor Girl Cooks: Instant Chocolate Ice Cream

Now don't get me wrong, I'm very wary of anything labeled "instant". In fact, the recipe doesn't even call itself that, but the process was so quick and simple that ---

Well look at that, it finished while I was talking. No exaggeration here folks, you'll honestly have chocolate ice cream in around 20 minutes using only two ingredients. The texture is average, the flavor is below what I desire (more on this in a later post), but it delivers exactly what you would expect: a quick bowl of cold chocolatey goodness. And so I present:

Instant Chocolate Ice Cream
found all over the internet and in my ice cream maker manual

1 package of instant chocolate pudding (the 3.9 size or whatever the small box is)
2 cups of whole milk

Mix the pudding powder thoroughly into the milk. Pour into your ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions. No seriously, that's it.
